Last night as I was about to jump in the shower I heard an awe full noise coming from our stable area. It sounded like Ella our pet lamb was being attacked. My first thought was fox! I panicked and ran out to see what was happening. Ella came running over to me when I called out to her, so I could see she was perfectly fine. But then this dark blob went flying past me. I followed where it went, trying to find it with the torch. And when I did I realised it was a baby goat! Sooooo cute – and a ver high pitched bleating sound!
It had a little rug on so I knew it was a pet, but our nearest neighbour is a kilometre away! I was able to pick it up but then thought what am I going to do with it? I thought I could put it in the little yard we made for Ella, but then I realised on of the panels was missing. I put the goat down to try and find the panel, and of course it ran off, and I couldn’t catch it again.
So this morning Jasmine and I went out and sure enough the goat and Ella were snuggling up together.
I rang our neighbour and it was his, he is hoping it will eat his weeds!
So we fixed up a pen, and put both Ella and the kid in, till he can come and collect her!
Danny was so excited when we told him, he ran out in his dressing gown!
